Release Notes
September 26, 2022
Hello and thanks again for being a valued CellarPass community member!
We completed another update to our admin panel today that continues on our theme of improving the user interface to be more in tune with the next generation of CellarPass.
We understand that every feature in our admin panel is important to you- it's our goal to continue to innovate and improve our platform that will make your team more efficient while providing a competitive advantage over others.
For the past few major updates, we've been making some substantial improvements to existing features, interfaces and introducing new features that we know you will enjoy using. Today is full of new features!
We also see that many of you love the fact that you can report tickets via email which is a fantastic convenience, but please be sure to provide some background information, including which business or property, guest-related details and include some screenshots and so forth as it will make it much faster for us to replicate the issue.
Yes, our release notes at times can be long and exhausting to read through, but we want to make sure you are fully aware of what's been changed, improved or introduced in each release as some are larger than others. To get the most out of your subscription, it will be worth your while to take a moment and scan through the notes below.
NEW FEATURES

- Access Codes are no longer cloned over when events are cloned

IMPROVED FEATURES
- The admin panel's Dashboard has been redesigned and will receive additional facelifts and data reporting changes in the next week.
- CellarPass.com Search engine has been improved to show Ticketed Events first, then Properties, then Regions.
- Our hard work at SEO is netting us fantastic results and continue to report #1 SER placement for commonly-used keyword terms for booking winery visits.
- Google is now indexing our reviews that are indexed from our profile pages. Be sure you are checking in your guests to get recent reviews from your guests. Learn how to check-in guests.
- Ticketed Events paid out using a physical check will require a verified address as part of the setup. We are now using Google Maps to verify the address. Ignoring the validation will only lead to possible delayed deliveries, or lost checks. We strongly recommend setting up the Direct Deposit method, which is required only once, and use that option for all future ticketed events.
- Zip Codes are now required for all reservations. This is response to 3rd party integrations failing our sync's due to missing zip codes. We recommend getting the zip code from your guests when you book them over the phone as this will not only help you understand where these guests live, but make sure your data is clean later on.
POLICY CHANGES
- Starting October 1st, 2022, there will be a check-processing charge when requiring your payout to be processed via physical check. There's a $15 processing charge for amounts up to $4999.99. For amounts >$5000.00, there's a $25 charge for payouts as they are sent via USPS certified mail. Avoid the fee and get paid faster by choosing the Direct Payments option or connect your event to a Stripe Business payment processing account. See your account manager for more information.
