And the only way guests are invited to leave a review is when they have booked a reservation and have been checked in upon their arrival.
PRO TIP
The more reservations you place through the system, the more reviews you can get, ultimately boosting your ranking. So we recommend that you take full advantage of the system by booking all the reservations that may come through the phone, email or in person.
There are three recommended methods to checking in guests:
Checking Guests In via Tablet or Smartphone using Guest Link Pro
CellarPass Guest Link Pro is a free app that you can use on any iOS or Android device to view reservations, reschedule, cancel and guest check-in.
- Follow this article on how to download and install Guest Link Pro on your iOS or Android device.
- From the main menu, select Reservations.
- Select View Reservations. from the next menu.
- You will be presented with a list of reservations for today.
- Click, hold and swipe left on the reservation to check in. This will reveal a blue Check In button.
- Tap the Check In button.
- The party is now checked in.
Checking Guests In (Backoffice)
- Log into CellarPass.com/manage
- Select Experiences from the left-hand menu.
- Select Dashboard
- Locate the Reservation/Guest to be checked in. Search tools are provided to search if needed.
- Click on the Reservation's Confirmation# to view the Reservation details.
- At the bottom of the Reservations Details window, click the "green" Check-In button.
- The Reservation status will be updated to "Checked-in".
Checking Guests In via TablePro
CellarPass TablePro are a free app to use on your iPad device for those on our Professional plan.
1. Follow this article to download and install TablePro.
2. Launch the TablePro, if not launched already.
3. Click the Confirmed tab at the very bottom. On the left-hand side of TablePro, you will see a list of your Reservations.
4. This will show all of your Reservations for today.
There are two methods you can check-in guests;
1. You can tap, hold and drag the party to any open table
2. OR click on the reservation to view the details. You can then click the blue Seat Party button. Click Seat Party button again if the entire party is being seated. Doing so will seat the party, considering them checked in.
