This article covers how to add contacts from your MailChimp List(s) to your CellarPass List
This article covers how you can pull contact records from a MailChimp list and add it to an existing CellarPass List in the List Management feature. Please note that this is an active subscription to the Table Pro plan is required.
Step 1: Complete Integration with MailChimp
If you have not yet completed the initial steps to integrated CellarPass with MailChimp, please read this article. Once you have confirmed the integration is operating correctly, you can follow the next step.
Step 2: Adding Contacts to CellarPass List from MailChimp List(s)
- Log into the CellarPass backoffice by going to http://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- Click Guest from the left-hand navigation menu.
- From the People submenu, select List Management
- From the list of available CellarPass Lists, click the name of the list in blue on the left.
- This will display the current contacts within the selected List.
- Click the Add Guests button in the top, right-hand corner.
- From the list of options, select Import List from MailChimp. If you do not see this option, re-confirm that you have the MailChimp integration setup property (Settings, Member Configuration, MailChimp)
- Next, click the Search button located just below the MailChimp section. Doing so will search directly into MailChimp for your available Lists.
- Once the results are displayed, you can select one of the MailChimp lists by selecting one of the checkboxes.
- Click the checkbox, then click the Add button. Doing so will bring over your contacts from MailChimp. This may take several minutes depending on the size of your list.
- Click the Save button.
Please note that CellarPass does not constantly sync your MailChimp list(s) as this is a manual process. It also does not REMOVE any contacts from the copy managed in CellarPass if they are removed in your MailChimp list. If you want a current, updated copy, we recommend creating a new List within CellarPass and completing a fresh sync.
