This article covers the basics on using the Exceptions log related to Reservation-based events.
CellarPass keeps track of many of the changes that are made to Reservations and their associated events. And to provide maximum schedule flexibility, the platform will automatically log changes that effect a single occurrence of a recurring event. These are displayed in the Event's Exception Log which can be displayed while editing an event.
Viewing the Exceptions Log
1. Log into CellarPass by going to www.cellarpass.com/manage
2. Go to Experiences
3. From the submenu, select Events (Requires Administrator Role)
4. You will be presented with a list of reservation-based events. Click on the event you wish to edit.
5. Click the Exceptions tab near the top of the event editor. Doing so will display the Exceptions log for the selected event.
6. The details help you provide some history as to what changes were made and by whom.
Changes That Will Create an Exceptions Log Entry
Exceptions track the change of a single occurrence, while the Change Log will track the changes to the Event's schedule.
