GETTING STARTED
To utilize the CellarPass Guest Link mobile app, you will need to be a current CellarPass Ticketing platform subscriber. You can sign-up here.
STEP #1 ESTABLISHING APP CREDENTIALS
You'll need to log into the CellarPass Backoffice to get the "QR Code" or credentials (if your camera is broken or hidden).
- First, be sure to download the CellarPass Guest Link Pro app that works with your devices operating system; iOS or Android.
- Using your laptop or desktop, log into CellarPass backoffice by going to http://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- Go to Business, then select Apps & Integrations (admin-level access required)
- At the top of this page, you will find your app credentials and a "QR Code" button.
STEP #2- SETTING UP THE APP USING THE QR CODE METHOD
If you have a camera on your device, using the "Scan Code" mode is going to be much faster.
- Launch the Guest Link Pro app and put the device to the side for a moment.
- Now in the CellarPass admin panel, click the "QR Code" button
- Doing so will display a QR Code on your screen.
- Clicking the "Scan Code" in the Guest Link Pro app will enable the camera.
- Simply point the device at the QR Code and you'll be automatically logged in.
- You can now freely use the app.
STEP #2- SETTING UP THE APP USING THE USERNAME + PASSWORD METHOD
For those that do not have access to a camera because it's broken or blocked.
- Launch the Guest Link Pro app and put the device to the side for a moment.
- Now in the CellarPass admin panel, go to Business, then select Apps & Integrations.
- There are three fields of information that you'll need to establish on this page:
- MemberID which is located to the far left near your company name.
- Guest Link App / Check-in Username; enter one if this field is currently blank. Click Save.
- Guest Link App / Check-in Password; enter one if this field is currently blank. Click Save.
- We recommend using a set of credentials that is not easily guessed. Passwords should be a mix of alpha (upper and lower) and numeric values for best security.
- If you have entered or updated the two Guest Link-related fields, you MUST click the "Save" button to commit those changes.
- Now grab your device and select "Manual" on the startup screen.
- Enter your MemberID, App Username and App Password into the device and click the button.
- You can now freely use the app.
STEP #3 CHECKING-IN GUESTS (RESERVATIONS)
Passport Events are only available to Subscribers that have opted into one of the available Passport programs, either available from CellarPass or from one of our Affiliate DMO's. This button will NOT appear if you have refrained from participating.
If you are participating in a Passport program, but do NOT see the Passport Events button, we recommend you contact the Event Organizer immediately prior to contacting CellarPass Technical Support for assistance. This relationship must first be confirmed prior to elevating this issue to be a technical one.
- When first logging in, you'll be presented with a few options based on your account type; Ticketed Events, Passport Programs and Sell Tickets.
- Select Reservations to check in Guests.
- If you run multiple Locations, the app may ask you to select a Location.
- The Guest Link app will then show you a list of "today's" Reservations.
- If you need to view a different day's Reservations, click the date displayed at the top of the app, or tap the left or right arrow to move to different dates in the past (left) or future (right).
