IMPROVEMENTS
- Reservation Availability
We have completed another pass of optimizing our search availability across all channels for properties that are using the “Max Orders” and “Max Capacity” rules combined with table-level customized requirements. - CellarPass.com Optimizations
We have re-written the Search Availability feature to provide better, more encompassing search results such as searching for ‘Napa’ as a keyword will now include all properties in Napa Valley. - CellarPass.com Search Availability
When searching for "Napa" or "Napa Valley", the search results are no longer in alphabetical order, they will be displayed in random order. This helps every property get equal placement at the top of the search results.
BUG FIXES
- Cost vs Fee
If you are connected to a 3rd party eCommerce partner, there was some validation issues related to Cost and Fee which was resolved in this release. - Leading and Trailing Spaces in First Names and Last Names
We found cases where a space was accidentally introduced before a guest’s first name or last name, or after. We have fixed this issue and corrected all existing data for Reservations, Ticketing and al User records. This helps solve some of the backoffice search issues we found in the last couple of weeks. - Promotions Manager
We found some minor bugs when re-writing our Promotions Manager. Those have been addressed in today’s release.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Duplicated Time Slots
If you are running duplicative timeslots for the same Reservation event, we recommend you de-dupe those immediately to improve the performance of your booking engine. With the new Max Order and Max Capacity improvements, the need for duplicative times is no longer necessary.
UPCOMING & NEWS
We continue to get closer to providing an official launch date of our next generation platform which will include a full suite of DTC tools, including Point of Sale, Club Management, Inventory Management and much, much more.
To ease the familiarization of using the new platform, over the coming weeks, we will begin making changes to our current platform’s menus to be more inline with how the next generation will be managed. As features are moved and updated, it’s important that you read or release notes as it will help explain where you can find any feature that has been moved.
You will also find that the admin panel will be much more simplified and related features will be found much, more easily than before. The focus groups and beta testing has been providing some very positive comments that confirm we’re headed in the right direction. These improvements will be released in phases, now through end of May.
