The Table Pro app uses different colors to communicate the current status of the table(s).
Once you start using Table Pro, you'll notice that your tables on the floor plan will change as the tables progress through what we call is the "lifecycle" of the seating. This essentially starts when you first assign the party to a table. We sometimes refer to this as a Table Session.
Available (Black) This is the default status of a table when no party has been assigned to the table.
Reserved or Unavailable (Gray) This status is used to communicate to staff that the table has been Reserved or is marked as unavailable. The system will provide a warning prior to allowing anyone to assign a party to a table with this status.
Partially Seated (Light Green) is used when you seat a party on a table and seat a qty less than what was expected and select the "Partially Seated" status. This alerts your staff that the party is expecting more people to arrive shortly later.
Seated (Purple) is used when you either select the expected number of guests in the party, or you decrease the number of guests and do not use the "Partially Seated" status. This alerts your staff that all members of the party at the table have arrived.
First Course (Light Blue) is used to communicate that the table has received their first course. This could be anything from their appetizer, their first tasting and so forth.
Check (Orange) is used to communicate to staff that the party's check has been delivered.
Bus (Red) is used to communicate to staff that the party has left the table and is ready to be cleaned and marked Available again.
Progress Bars
When a party that was originally booked by a Reservation, or assigned an Event at time of booking, these tables will also have a progress bar below the Table ID denoting the percentage complete, based on the length of their booked experience. This timer starts the moment they are seated, despite either being seated early or being seated past their expected start time. Progress bars are only displayed Tables with statuses of Partially Seated & Seated through Check. It will not be displayed on Available, Bus or Reserved/Unavailable statuses.
An example would be an experience that is 60 minutes long. If the party is assigned to a table at 10AM, the progress bar will show 50% complete at 10:30AM and 100% at 11AM. Once the percent complete hits 100%, the progress bar will be displayed red, denoting that the party has run into overtime.
Note: Table status are not displayed as historical data. Meaning that if you look at previous days' floor plans, the tables will not be displayed in any status related to that day.
