Event organizers no longer have to be limited to physical events, go virtual! From watch parties to virtual tastings, these online events can be effectively marketed on the CellarPass platform in just a few clicks.
Have a webcam and a YouTube account? In just a few clicks, you can create your live broadcast as a ticketed event on CellarPass, where people from around the globe can discover your event and register.
Once you have selected how you are going to manage your webcast, whether that's Facebook Live, YouTube or Zoom, we'll walk you through the steps on how you can use our platform to market your event, manage registrations and stay in contact with your customers and VIPs.
Note: You will need admin-level access to the CellarPass platform to complete these steps.
- Log into CellarPass by going to https://www.cellarpass.com
- On the left-hand main menu, click Settings.
- Next, select Locations Manager.
- Click Add New Location.
- Create your new location with your address, but if you do not plan on having guests addend physically, we recommend you call it [[Company]] Virtual Studios so that it's clear.
- On the left-hand main menu, click Ticketing.
- In the submenu Create & Manage.
- Enter the details about your event just as you would with any typical event. Make sure it's clearly communicated that this is a live broadcast. And give them a reason to register such as providing priority to those that register to have their questions answered live during the broadcast or prizes and giveaways. Remember, this is a great time to connect to existing customers, but to also create new ones.
- If you do not plan on allowing guests to attend physically, uncheck the Display Map checkbox.
- Be sure to set the Delivery Method on your tickets to be Will Call.
- On the Marketing tab of the Event Editor, be sure to select Live Broadcast as the Event Category.
- Selecting this Event Category, you will notice a new Broadcast URL field will appear.
- Enter the FULL URL of your live broadcast's webpage, including https://www.[[domainname]].
- Make any other customizations to your Event as needed.
- Publish your event.
- On the Marketing tab, you will see your event page URL. Click the "View" link or copy and paste the URL into your browser.
- We recommend that you view all the details and make sure everything is clearly communicated.
- Once good, start sharing your URL with your customers and online audiences through your social media channels, email blasts or the CellarPass communications manager.
- Be sure to tag @cellarpass so that our social media channels pick it up.
Good luck with your broadcast!
