We completed an update to the platform today that will enable the "opt-in" status on a new customer record should they elect to opt-into receiving marketing emails during checkout through your CellarPass widget.
NOTE: This will only work with new customers that are not already in your WineDirect database based on email address. WineDirect provides no safe means to simply update this status on a customer record and we found it is too dangerous to do a full contact record update from the information from providing a reservation as it maybe a temporary or incomplete address since we do not require full address information unless pre-charged.
