To integrate CellarPass with Commerce7, you will need to complete the following steps:
Submit a Support Ticket
- Submit a support ticket to CellarPass by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/support This will help us identify you and ensure you have access to one of our tech support members that is familiar with next steps.
Installing the CellarPass App in Commerce7
- Log into your Commerce7 admin panel
- Select Apps & Integrations from the left-hand menu.
- Next, search for CellarPass.
- Click on the App Name. This will display the details of our app.
- If the app is already installed, click the Uninstall App button.
- Select Apps & Integrations from the left-hand menu.
- Next, search for CellarPass.
- Click on the CellarPass Version 2 app (if two versions are displayed).
- Doing so displays the details of the CellarPass app.
- Towards the top of the page, click the Install App button.
- Click Continue.
- Click the Install App button.
- You will receive a Success message.
- Click Close button.
- Our team will be alerted of the installation and update your support ticket with next steps.
Why This Change is Necessary
Prior to this upgrade, a user account was used to access the APIs, but if that user is deleted or their password is changed, then the integration would break.
This new authentication method eliminates issues related to:
1. Password Changes
2. User is removed
3. User's permissions are changed
4. Integration throttling
