If you notice the data transfer from CellarPass to WineDirect is failing, there's a 99% chance that this is due to the credentials you have configured are no longer valid.
This is typically caused by the following:
- Username is missing from CellarPass admin panel for WineDirect.
- Password is missing from CellarPass admin panel for WineDirect.
- Username provided no longer exists.
- Username provided no longer has Webservices role.
- Password provided has since changed.
- Password provided has since expired.
FIXING CREDENTIAL ISSUES
The good news is that the solution is typically pretty easy. You will need admin-level access to WineDirect and CellarPass.
- Log into CellarPass admin panel
- Select Business.
- Select Apps & Integrations.
- Scroll down to WineDirect section.
- Click the section to expand.
- Click the Test Login button.
- The system will use the current credentials (if available) and test the login. This will provide either a Success or Failed message.
- If successful, then your data should be exchanging without issue.
- If failed, you will need to update the Username and Password fields to credentials that work.
- Then click Save.
- Then click Test Login until your provided credentials are successful.
