Release Notes
This update included many new features designed to help you grow your business that we know you are going to be excited about.
GENERAL
Guests
Today's update includes a brand new Guests section that requires you to search for the Guest first, instead of downloading all the guests to your screen. The alternative (and faster approach) is to click the magnifying glass in the top, right-hand corner of your screen.
Exports
This release concludes the project of migrating all exportable features to the new format where you request an export and an email with a link to download the data is sent. This not only offloads heavy workloads off our main applications, but makes the exported files much easier to share with other colleagues, reducing the need for multiple users to export the same data multiple times.
Guests
You can now easily email any of your Guests by clicking on their email address within the Guests view in the admin panel.
Team Members
You can now easily email any of your team members by clicking on their email address within the Team Members view in the admin panel.
RESERVATIONS
Credit Card on File
Today's update, you can now book a guest for a reservation and select from any number of credit cards they have on file with your property on CellarPass. Simply start a reservation, enter their email address and if you need to collect a credit card, click the View Card(s) button and any of their tokenized cards can be applied to their reservation.
BONUS: For those on Commerce7, we can provide the resort-like experience as credit cards on file within C7 or recently used in CellarPass, can now be applied to Reservations via the admin panel or either of our mobile apps.
But what about your other integrated partners? Well, we've asked them to provide the integrated services to provide such capability, but none of them have it (VinSuite, WineDirect, OrderPort, etc). We encourage you to demand that they provide this capability that allows you to increase your business and service your guests better- and far faster.
Reservations Reviews
Based on user feedback, we have redesigned the Reservations Review system to expand on asking two additional questions of "How much did you spend?" and "Did you sign up for a club?".
We have also paired down the number of choices when it comes to providing an overall impression to be "Excellent", "Above Average", "Good" and "Unsatisfactory".
Reservations Booking Form
We have expanded the Guest Details view to include Address 1, Address 2, City, State and Zip Code.
Guest Match System
We have renamed the "Match" button to be now "Look Up" so that it's more intuitive to what this button does.
Exports (Admin Panel)
The submenu for this item within Reservations has been changed from "Export Reservations" to just "Export".
TICKETING
Credit Card on File
The benefits of using CellarPass Payments is even more enticing as you can not sell tickets through the admin panel for any guest that has previously purchased a ticket.
NOTE: For Ticketed events, this feature is limited to CellarPass Payments. If you are using Stripe or any other payment gateway for ticketing and want to use this new feature, please contact your account manager.
Ticket Levels
We have redesigned the Ticket Levels page to provide new sections for Live, Starts Soon and Ended, making it more clear than ever which tickets are now on sale, which are going to be on sale on a date in the future and ticket level sales that have ended.
The Ticket Valid Start Date and Ticket Valid End Dates have also been redesigned so that it's more clear.
Ticket Level Validation
We have rewritten the validation that checks for tickets that are on sale, whether private or not to ensure you are publishing a public event with at lease one public ticket level.
TABLEPRO
TablePro v2.5.1 Released
We released an update to TablePro v2.5.1 that optimizes some of the features and corrects a display for the Paid versus UnPaid. If the total sum of payments, minus any credits/refunds is less than the Total Due, it is considered UnPaid. So if you received a partial payment, it will not be considered Paid, but it will be flagged as Unpaid.
