If you would like to automate discounts on your Add-Ons as you may do for your event fees, you can set this up in just a couple of clicks.
OVERVIEW
Be sure to understand that these discounts are setup within the Add-On Collection, therefore if you want different discounting rules to apply to different events that may use the same Add-On Collection, you'll need to make new Collections to handle these discount rules.
LIMITATIONS
This is currently limited to the following Add-On Menu Types:
1. Flex Menu
2. Experience Selection
3. Menu Selection
CONFIGURING DISCOUNTS
These discounts will be configured within an Add-On Collection, so if you have not yet setup your Collection you'll need to complete those steps first.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel
- Select Experiences
- Select Add-Ons.
- In the top right-hand corner, select Collections.
- Locate your Collection and click the Title of the Collection to configure.
- Doing so will allow you to edit the Collection that is used to contain the Add-On items.
- Click the Configure button for the Add-On Item you wish to apply an automated discount.
- Doing so will show the Add-Ons methods of discounting which is dependent on your selected integrated partner or manual imports.
- Using the dropdown, select or setup the automated discount as you wish.
- When complete, click the Save button.
- Repeat the steps above for each Add-On item within the Collection.
TESTING, TESTING, TESTING
We strongly recommend you complete thorough testing of your configurations before launching your event. This will allow you to confirm the correct discounts are being applied to the type of customer.
