If you are a busy property and tend to be at capacity for your experiences, we recommend enabling the Reservation Wait List feature that will allow you to continue to capture guests that would like to visit should there be a cancellation.
Once they have been added to a Wait List, they can then be approved or converted immediately to a confirmed reservation, should seating availability allow.
This feature is available to TablePro and Professional Plans (2021 or newer)
Enabling Wait Lists
You will first need to enable these service on each of your individual time slots within your schedule on your experiences.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel.
- Select Experiences from the left navigation menu.
- Locate the Experience you wish to enable the wait list on.
- Click the event name
- From the submenu, select Schedule.
- To the far right of each timeslot, you will see the current value set for your Wait List, 0 by default.
- If you would like to adjust (or enable this) click the Edit button.
- Enter a value for the total number of RSVPs that will allow to be captured on the Wait List (per day and timeslot).
- Click the Save button.
IMPORTANT CAPACITY RULES ABOUT WAIT LISTS
The Wait List system is designed to use the Max Capacity mode on the schedule ONLY. It will not follow the Max Orders setting. Therefore, if you do not have Max Capacity mode, this will only work until this mode is enabled and a Max Capacity value is set.
Please note that the Wait List feature will only appear when your Experience's time slot is sold out and is limited to being displayed within the CellarPass widget or CellarPass website.
If you want to track waiting Walk-ins, we recommend using CellarPass TablePro app for iPad.
