You can create up to three different pre-visit questions that can be required to be completed as part of the online booking process.
There are two types of questions:
- Dropdown
This will allow you to set up a list of acceptable pre-built answers for the questions for the guest to select. - Text Field
Using this form type will leave an open input field that can be used to store their answer.
Configuring Questions
To set up your questions, follow the simple steps:
- Select Experiences from the main left navigation.
- From the submenu, select Events.
- Click on the Event Name of the Experience you wish to setup.
- From the menu, select Event Details.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the Attendee Questions section.
- Click the + Add Question button.
- From the next page, select the form type of either Dropdown or Text field.
- If you selected the Dropdown option, you will need to add your different pre-built answers you wish to have the guest select from.
- Once done, click the Save button.
- Repeat Steps 6 - 9 if you wish to add two more questions.
- Once setup is complete, we recommend you book a sample reservation through the back office, reviewing all of the questions and form fields, making sure they are setup as you expected.
Reviewing Answers
The answers to these questions are stored with the reservation.
- Click Experiences.
- Select Dashboard.
- Locate the reservation in the Reservations Dashboard, and click the Confirmation Number.
- On the right-hand side of the Reservation Details view, click the Notes tab. This will show your Guest Questions and their answers.
Changing Questions or Answers
Note that if you change the text related to the Question and/or the Answer, previously-booked reservations that are subsequently modified (party size, reschedule, etc) will require that effected question to be re-selected in order to save.
