If you are wanting to share a private ticket level while also applying an automated discount using a promo code, you can achieve this by sharing a URL that combines the Access Code and Promo Code.
You'll need to first build your event, your private ticket level, set your Access Code and set your Discount Code. Once done, follow the steps below in creating your own.
We'll be using an example of a real event so you can see what you need to update. You'll see in this example URL, that we have the link to our Event, the Access Code and the Promo Code.

- Locate your Event's URL- This can be easily found at the very top of the Marketing & Discounts tab while editing a Ticketed Event. This is highlighted in red in the example below.
- Locate your Event's Promo- This will be located in the Marketing & Discounts tab towards the bottom. In this example, I am using a Promo Code of "passportlover22". This is highlighted in orange in the example below.
- Your Event's Access Code- This will be located in the Marketing & Discounts tab towards the bottom. Please note that for a Ticket to be used with an Access Code, it must be marked as Private. In this example, I am using a Access Code of "thedeal". This is highlighted in blue in the example below.

As always, we strongly recommend you review all start and end dates for the following before marketing your special offer as they may impact the success of your offer if not setup properly.:
- Ticket Event Sales Start Date and Time
- Ticket Event Sales End Date and Time
- Promo Code Start Date and Time
- Promo Code End Date and Time
- Access Code Start Date and Time
- Access Code End Date and Time
Last step is to test, test and more testing before sharing any links.
