This article covers Public Guest List feature and how it works with Ticketed Events.
This feature allows you to publicly display the names of the guests that have tickets in their name, or group them by Ticket Buyer in cases where Post Capture or Ticket Registration is not a requirement. This "guest list" is displayed in the "Who's Attending" section on the Event Details page.
This will group ticketholders based on their email address, across multiple orders.
The Guest List will be displayed similar to this (example):
Bill A. (1 Ticket)
Jonathan B. (4 Tickets)
Sarah E. (5 Tickets)
Tim H. (8 Tickets)
Cristian N. (2 Tickets)
You will notice that it only exposes the full first name and initial of their last name.
Enabling the Feature
- Log into CellarPass backoffice by going to http://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- Click Ticketing from the left-hand menu.
- From the submenu, select Events
- From the Event list, click the name of the event to the left of the button you wish to enable this feature.
- From the tabs located at the top of the Event Editor, select the Marketing & Discounts tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page, locating the Event Accessibility section.
- Click the Show link to expand the advanced features.
- Click the checkbox to the left of the Display Guest List.
- Click the Save button to store the changes.
- If your Event has already received orders, you will see the Event Details page updated (after about 10 minutes) to display the Ticket holders.
Privacy Policies
We recommend that you check and comply with your own organization's data privacy policies before enabling this feature as this could pose a conflict.
