Overview
QR codes make it easy for guests to access your CellarPass ticketed event page quickly — no typing, no searching, just scan with your phone and sell tickets online.
Whether you’re promoting your event on social media, posters, or printed materials, a QR code provides a simple and professional way to connect guests directly to your event’s booking page.
Why Use a QR Code?
QR codes are one of the most effective tools for driving traffic and increasing ticket sales. Here’s why:
-
Instant Access: Guests can scan the QR code with their phone’s camera to instantly open your event page.
-
Error-Free: Avoid typos or long URLs — every scan goes straight to your event.
-
Flexible Promotion: Add your QR code to flyers, tasting menus, wine labels, postcards, or table tents.
-
Track Engagement: If you use URL tracking tools, you can measure how many guests engage through QR scans.
How to Create a QR Code for Your Event URL
-
Log in to your CellarPass Business Account.
-
Go to Ticketing > Events and open the menu for your published ticketed event by clicking the event name.
-
Select Marketing & Discounts
-
To the right of the event’s public URL, you will see a QR Code icon, click this.
-
This opens a new window with two buttons that will allow you to copy to your clipboard or download it as a file.
-
Add the QR code to your marketing materials — digital or print.
Best Practices
-
Test before sharing: Always scan your QR code to ensure it links correctly.
-
Use high-resolution images: Avoid blurry or pixelated QR codes when printing.
-
Include a call to action: Add text like “Scan to Book Tickets” or “Reserve Your Spot.”
-
Keep it updated: If you edit your event URL or create a new event, generate a new QR code.
