Hospitality Tips & Tricks
- Alert Hospitality Partners You Are on CellarPass
CellarPass rewards 100 points to partners that book reservations on CellarPass.com and their guest is checked in. So be sure to keep up with seating or checking in your guests. - See the Value the Partner Provides
By adding partners, there are Reservation Reports designed to show you the booked revenue by each partner, helping you understand the value they add to your business. - Host Hospitality Industry Parties
We recommend that you host "industry nights" at your property, inviting fellow business owners, tour operators and those in your hospitality network. And of course those that are not in your network as they have never been to your property or been invited to check out your experiences and events. The larger your network, the more bookings you'll receive.
Simply create a Private Ticketed event and invite all those in the industry- your business neighbors and so forth to attend. Be sure to add concierge@cellarpass.com so our teams know about it. - Join Local Hospitality Groups
You would be happily surprised how many hospitality groups are in your area that you probably don't know about. These are great groups to network with as they typically host their own events, allowing you meet representatives from local tour & transportation companies or individuals that book on behalf of guests such as concierges and hoteliers. Search LinkedIn, Facebook and when talking with partners, ask what groups or communities that participate in. - Join Your Local Chamber of Commerce
This seems like a really obvious one, but this is another great resource to get to know local hotel operators, tour operators and fellow business owners that recommend places to go and things to do all the time. - Join Local "Trail" Organization
Some areas have local "Trail" organizations that put on annual weekend events that are designed to pump up traffic during off-season times of the year. Getting involved in one of these is something we recommend considering in your marketing budget. - Visit Tour Operators
If these representatives don't know about you, then make yourself known to them. Schedule a time to sit down and see how you can work together that has mutual benefits. Who knows, you may become their newest, most-booked property in no time. - Create Exclusive Experiences
One of the more popular features of the Hospitality Network is to create co-branded experiences with a hotel, vacation rental or tour company. You can create private recurring reservation experiences that only the approved parties can book. There's a lot of ways to set this up, so once you have developed your program, schedule some time with your account representative to learn more.
