There's a lot of tricks to boosting your bookings, but there's one specific trick that you should be doing anyways that will no doubt lead to more bookings which is checking in your guests.
Why you ask? Well the reason why you want to check a party in (or mark them as a no-show) is our platform will automatically send an invitation for your guest to leave a review. This invitation is a powerful feedback loop that will help you identify issues or recognize a star staffer.
CHECKING IN GUESTS
There's two easy ways to check in guests.
- Use Our Mobile Apps
Guest Link Pro or TablePro. Guest Link Pro is available to both iOS and Android, while TablePro is available to those on an iPad. You can learn how to download & install Guest Link Pro here. For those that have access to TablePro, you can download here. - Use Admin Panel
Once you have logged into our admin panel, select Experiences from the left-hand menu, then select Dashboard. This will show guests are are expected to arrive today. Clicking on the confirmation number, will show the Reservation details view. Click the green "Check-in" button and you'll be all set. If a guest does not check-in by the end of the day, you will want to mark them as a "No Show".
Select the "More Actions" in the top right, then select "No Show" from the dropdown menu. Doing so will update the Reservation status to "No Show". This will also send a message to the guest, alerting them to this status. If a guest receives more than three "no-shows" in a 365 days, their account will be blocked from booking any further reservations on our website.
If you have not been checking in guests, it's not too late to catch up. You can go back and check-in guests from previous dates. Just be sure that the guest was actually on property or you will confuse them.
Within a few weeks of getting into the habit of checking in guests and getting positive reviews, you will see your ranking within your designated region rise.
