This article covers the steps required to setup CellarPass to assign Sales Associate IDs to Upserted Orders based on Booking Source
If you would like some additional reporting in eWinery when upserting Reservations as Orders into eWinery (VinSuite), CellarPass allows you to add a specified Sales Associate ID to be assigned to an Order based on where the Reservation was booked, such as B/O, WGT, REF, CON, AFF and so forth.
STEP 1- CREATE SALES ASSOCIATES
In order to configure this advanced feature, you will need to first create your Sales Associates for each booking channel. Once you have created them all, you will want to write down the GUIDs from each Sales Associate ID. The easiest way to find this is look at the URL after creating each Sales Associate. If you need more information on how to create Sales Associates, please contact eWinery as we do not provide assistance with 3rd party services.
STEP 2- ASSIGNING SALES ASSOCIATES
Now that you have the Sales Associates created in eWinery, you can add these to the CellarPass backoffice. You must be signed with a User with Admin-level privileges.
- Log into the CellarPass backoffice by going to http://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- Click Business
- Then select the Apps & Integrations from the submenu.
- Scroll down to locate the eWinery section under Third Party Settings
- Click to expand the eWinery section.
- You will be presented with 6 sections to enter your Sales Associate GUID ID into CellarPass as shown below.
- Enter the GUID value for all 6 Booking Sources even if you don't use them all. We recommend you copy and paste these values right out of eWinery to make sure you enter them accurately.
- Once all the Sales Associate GUIDs have been entered, click the Save button located at the top of the page.
Once these have been saved, all Reservations synced as Orders into eWinery will include the Sales Associate information AFTER this change has been made. It will not update existing orders.
