This article covers the steps you will need to follow to print Chits from TablePro. Please note that CellarPass does NOT provide support for connecting your printer or printing difficulties.
Printing Chits in TablePro
You can now print Chits directly out of TablePro for Walk Ins, Wait List and Reservation-based Guests. Follow these steps to define the default Star thermal printer and the configuration panel that allows you to define, on a per-device level, the additional information regarding the party.
Why Print Chits?
Chits are commonly-found at restaurants and somewhat new to tasting rooms. Think of this as a great "at a glance" view of a guest that can be printed shortly before the guest's arrival or at time of seating. This can include helpful information including guest name, their phone, whether they are a club member or not and many other details. Once you have configured your printer to your device, you can then set, at a per device level, the different data points on a customer. Just note, the more you print, such as Internal Notes, Account notes and so forth, you will consumer more paper- and the possibility of one of these printed chits falling on the floor and a guest seeing their own account ntoes.
