If your general customers are required to pre-pay their reservations at time of booking or before their arrival, but after discounts a certain group of guests (for example club members) receive it complimentary, you can avoid requiring club members from submitting their credit card information by properly configuring your event.
Waiving Credit Card Requirement for Complimentary Reservations (after discount)
If you would like to not require a credit card after a discount has been applied resulting in a complimentary booking, follow these steps:
- Go to Experiences.
- Select Events.
- Locate and click on the Experience name.
- Select Event Details from the submenu.
- Scroll down the page to locate Deposit Policy.
- Choose any of the deposit policies that require a credit card.
- Above the dropdown, click the checkbox Ignore $0.00 Grand Total.
- Save the changes.
- Test the changes by attempting to book a reservation through your website as an active club member following your discount rules, resulting in a complimentary reservation.
Choosing the Correct Deposit Policy
If your requirements have changed and you no longer want to require a credit card for any reservation, be sure to review your selected deposit policy for all of your event(s).

- Complimentary
- Charge Upon Arrival
