The CellarPass Product Manager is designed for you to upload your products and their associated details for you to be able to display them on your Business page on CellarPass.com. The purpose is to help visitors to your page to better understand the products that are available for purchase.
NOTE: At this time, Product Menus are displayed within your Business page on CellarPass.com only.
OVERVIEW
Once you have created your products, you will then assign them to Collections, which are then used to group your products into categories on your page. For example, if you are a winery, you would create all your red wine products, then create a Red Wines Collection, then assign those products to this Collection. Once you have created all of your Collections, you will then assign which Collections will be displayed on your Business page. Note to complete all these steps, you must be an Admin-level User.
CREATING PRODUCTS
The first step is to create your products, add the details, set the price, upload an image and set the URL that is used to purchase the item.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- From the left main menu, select Marketing.
- From the submenu, select Products.
- Click the Add Product button located in the top right of the Manage Products page.
- Complete the fields that are provided. Note that there are two Custom Fields that you can use for adding additional information for the product. These two fields are limited to 50 characters.
- Note If your Sale Price is less than your Retail Price, the Sale Price is the value that will be shown on your Business page.
- To display this product within a Collection or on your Business page, be sure to change the Status to Active-Public.
- Click the Save button once completed.
- Clicking the Cancel button will take you back to the Manage Products page.
- Repeat steps 4 - 6 for subsequent products.
CREATING COLLECTIONS
Consider Collections as a means to group products together. As we mentioned in the intro, this could Collections named as Red Wines, White Wines, Reserve Wines and so forth.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- From the left main menu, select Marketing.
- From the submenu, select Products.
- Click the Collections button located in the top right of the Manage Products page.
- Click the Add Collection button to create your first Collection.
- Enter a name for the Collection, being careful not to duplicate the name.
- Click the Create Collection button to save your new Collection.
- Your new Collection has now been created.
ASSIGNING PRODUCTS TO COLLECTIONS
You may have noticed that you can assign Collections on the individual product details page, but we find it faster to create all your products, then assign the products as you create your Collections.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- From the left main menu, select Marketing.
- From the submenu, select Products.
- Click the Collections button located in the top right of the Manage Products page.
- Click on the name of the Collection you wish to modify.
- Now it's time to assign your products to this Collection by clicking the Add Product button.
- You will notice a default product will be selected which can be changed by clicking on the Product Name and selecting another.
- Click the Save button after selecting the product.
- To add other products, click the Add Product button. Doing so will add another row to grid below which you can then select your product as you did in Step 11.
- Repeat steps assigning other products until you are done.
- If you need to re-arrange the order of Products, simply drag and drop (up and down) where you would like the product to appear. This is the order in which they will appear within your Collection on your Business page.
- Click the Save button when done.
ASSIGNING COLLECTIONS TO YOUR BUSINESS PAGE
Now that you have created your Collections, the final step is to assign which Collections you wish to appear on your Business page and in what order.
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- From the left main menu, select Marketing.
- From the submenu, select Site & Menu.
- Locate the section just below Food Menu (Collections).
- Click the Manage Collection(s) link
- Click the Add Collection button.
- You will notice that a default Collection will appear. Click on the Collection Name to select another.
- Click Save.
- To add additional Collections click the Add Collection button.
- Repeat Steps 7 - 8 for the remaining Collections.
- Click Save.
REVIEW YOUR BUSINESS PAGE
Now that you have completed all your steps, we recommend that you view your Business page to make sure all your details are correct. You can find your Business page two ways; Go to https://www.cellarpass.com and click the search icon, then enter your name, or locate it via the admin panel by following these steps:
- Log into the CellarPass admin panel by going to https://www.cellarpass.com/manage
- From the left main menu, select Business.
- From the submenu, select Business Information.
- In the top right-hand corner, click View Business Page button.
- Doing so will open a new browser window, redirecting you to your Business page on CellarPass.com
