CellarPass Platform Upgrade Completed | 2/20/2023 – CellarPass

We have completed the scheduled platform update that introduced many enhancements, improved features and bug fixes throughout the ecosystem.

These release notes are designed to alert you of these changes and help you understand that some of these new features require your further input or may have a varying-level of impact on your account's current setup.

As with all release notes we distribute, we strongly recommend that you take a moment to review them and share them with your fellow team members.

RESERVATIONS
Today's update includes some new features and bug fixes.

NEW! Customized Private Booking Confirmation Messages
You can now customize up to 9 Confirmation Messages that can then be selected when booking Private Reservations within the admin panel. This feature is also now available in TablePro v2.4.2 and Guest Link Pro v2.4.2. These messages are managed in Business, then select Apps & Integrations, look for the Manage link just above the Standard Confirmation Message. The custom private confirmation message is limited to 4000 characters.
NEW! AddOns & UpSells Icon in Reservations Dashboard
You will notice after today's update that we now show a "utensils" icon in the Reservations Dashboard whenever an AddOn or UpSell is attached to a reservation. This is also denoted in TablePro v2.4.3 and Guest Link Pro v2.4.2.
NEW! Override Add-On Pricing
For the first time ever, you can now manually-apply discounts to all Add-Ons and UpSell items as you book or modify a Reservation. This will automatically update the Discounts value and what is ultimately calculated to charge the guest.
NEW! Contact information
You can now manage the contact information that is included in RSVP Confirmation emails by going to Business, Notifications & Alerts, then clicking Contact Settings.
New! Tag Formatting Option
The new [[ConfirmationMessage]] and [[CancellationMessage] fields in Reservation Events can now be formatted with line breaks and paragraphs. A single "return" on the keyboard will give you a line break, whereas a double "return" will display a paragraph break.
NEW! Embedded Booking Widget v3.02
We have re-introduced the code that is to be used to embed the CellarPass booking widget on your website. You will find this in Marketing, then select Widget. You can see different examples, here.
RSVP Editor
We continue to optimize the Experiences editor. We have made subtle changes to the design making it easier to read and use.
Confirmation, Cancellation & Reminder Email Design
We continue to optimize the design of the Confirmation, Cancellation and Reminder Email templates. Personal Notes and Guest Notes have been updated in this release to be hidden automatically if none have been provided.
FIXED! Sending Confirmation & Cancellation Emails
We received a few reports that when unchecking the "Send Confirmation" the email was not being sent to the intended guest, which is correct, but was sending a copy to "no-reply@cellarpass.com". This has been fixed with today's update for both Confirmation and Cancellation emails.

TICKETING
Today's update includes some new features and bug fixes.

Event Dashboard Reports
This release includes optimizations to the Ticketed Event Dashboard.
Payment Details
We have moved all payment details from the upper portion of the order details to a new dedicated Payment Details section which will include all transaction details related charges, refunds and voided transactions.
Ticketing Dashboard
We have moved the Ticketing Dashboard that once lived on the admin's homepage to the Dashboard page.

CELLARPASS.COM
This release includes many improvements to our website.

My Account
We have continued to optimize our My Account area to provide better performance of fetching history and UI enhancements.
Rescheduling Reservations
We have completely re-written the code related to allowing Guests to modify and reschedule their reservations online via My Account.

TABLEPRO v2.4.2
We're continuing to improve the features and capabilities of TablePro 2.

FIXED! Hidden Private Reservations
We found that there was a bug in previous releases that would not always properly check or uncheck locations that would then hide reservations booked privately. This update corrects this issue.
FIXED! Cannot Select Multiple Servers at Shift Start
We determined the issue that was not allowing multiple servers to be selected at started at Shift Start. This was released on 2/17/23.
NEW! AddOns & UpSells Icon
This upgrade will now denote when a reservation includes Add-Ons or Upsells by showing a "utensils" icon in the left-hand side showing a list of reservations.
NEW! Custom Private Confirmation Message
This upgrade includes the ability to select from your list of customized Private Confirmation Messages.
NEW! Chit Batch Printing You can now batch print chits for an entire day to any of our supported StarMicronics printers. Learn More
NEW! Selectable Batch Printing Order
With this release, you can now determine the order in which the Chits are printed; Event Start Time (chronological by earliest to latest Event Start Time) or Alphabetical A - Z (by Guest's Last Name). Go to Printing, click Change to the left of Batch Chit Printing Order. Select Event Start Time or Guest Last Name ( A - Z)

GUEST LINK PRO v2.4.2

We're continuing to improve the features and capabilities of Guest Link Pro.
This version has been officially released by Apple on 2/20/23. Android version pending release.
