When booking or modifying a reservation, you now have the ability to manually override prices associated with Add-Ons or UpSells.
- Start the standard reservation booking form that includes an Experience that has Add-Ons or UpSells assigned.
- Once you have selected the Add-Ons or the UpSells to be applied to the reservation, simply adjust the price on each line item by entering in a new value. Doing so will automatically reflect the adjusted price as a discount applied to the order, adjusting the balance due.
ADJUSTING EXISTING RESERVATIONS
If you are adjusting prices after a guest has been charged for their reservation, when submitting the changes, the guest will be automatically refunded the difference and an updated confirmation email will be sent to the email address on file for the reservation.
NOTE: When overriding prices of Add-Ons or UpSells, you cannot set a price that is higher than the retails price assigned to the selected Collection.
- The total Discount value includes any applicable discounts applied to Event Fees. Add-Ons or UpSells.
- The total discount value calculated for Add-Ons or UpSells will always be the original retail value minus the adjusted value, no matter how many times you modify the order and apply discounts.
